On July 26, 2025, the World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-level Conference on Global Governance of Artificial Intelligence kicked off in Shanghai. At this exhibition, which brings together the top forces in the global AI field, Core Technology presented a series of exhibits equipped with its energy-efficient heterogeneous SoC-- Core P1, focusing on the theme of "AI creates a better future", focusing on the cutting-edge achievements in the end-side AI field.
As a technology enterprise established in 2021, this core technology has anchored the research and development goal of general intelligent CPU since its establishment, and is committed to providing low-power and intelligent computing solutions for the society. In 2024, its P1 chip became the key carrier of technological breakthrough: the chip adopts 6nm manufacturing process, has 12-core Arm architecture design, integrates CPU, GPU and NPU, can provide 45TOPS end-side AI computing power, and supports up to 64GB LPDDR5 memory, which provides strong computing power support for end-side AI, and has successfully entered the production stage.
At this exhibition, this core technology brought three application scenarios of PC computing platform, edge computing platform and vehicle computing platform, which fully presented the application capability of this core P1 chip in multiple scenarios.
In the exhibition area of PC computing platform, Project Pavo-AI PC notebook became the focus. This exhibit is based on UEFI+ACPI standard firmware, and can run Debian12 and Windows11 operating systems respectively. When running Debian12 system, relying on the AI heterogeneous computing power of this core P1, it can run a variety of mainstream large language models, large-scale models and multi-modal large-scale models locally to meet the needs of various frontier AI application scenarios, and its AI display covers chat assistants, AI-assisted programming, etc. When Windows S11 system is running, it can smoothly run Office applications such as office software and Edge browser, and play audio and video. In terms of hardware configuration, it is equipped with this core P1 CP8180 SOC, equipped with a 14-inch 1920x1200 eDP screen, 16G LPDDR5 memory (up to 64GB) and so on, with excellent performance.
The Star Rui O6 AI PC development kit, which belongs to the PC computing platform, has also attracted a lot of attention. Based on the heterogeneous AI computing power of the core P1, the suite supports a variety of end-to-end large model applications and rich end-to-end AI scenarios, and the AI demonstration includes chat assistants, AI-assisted programming, etc. At the same time, relying on the graphics acceleration computing power of P1 and GO graphics engine, it can also support desktop 3D graphics applications such as Doom games and industrial design software Blender, and meet the requirements of complex application environments. This suite is jointly launched by Core Technology, Anmou Technology and Renesas Computer. Based on the Armv9 architecture design, it has passed the Arm SystemReady™ certification. With the unified firmware meeting UEFI and ACPI standards and specifications, the multi-desktop operating system can be used out of the box, which can shorten the time to market for customers' products.
The display of the edge computing platform is also bright. Among them, the AI all-in-one machine is equipped with this core P1 chip. Through the PCIe 4.0 high-speed interface, the AI computing card can be further expanded, and the local computing power can be greatly improved. It can better support the local deployment of large models from 7B to 32B, realize real-time response without delay, realize local closed loop of data, and release edge intelligence. In the three-way primitive display, the platform equipped with this core P1 chip and running Android system can simultaneously support the three-way primitive to run in a full frame with extremely high image quality, fully demonstrating the powerful rendering ability of GPU, and is at the leading level in the industry. As an edge server equipped with this core P1, it supports single-chip multi-channel Tik Tok concurrency, has enterprise-level load stability, and deeply optimizes Docker virtualization. The AI NAS prototype is built based on the open source NAS OS, and supports full-stack services such as local AI deployment, data backup and video streaming. The plug-and-play feature enhances the user experience.
In terms of vehicle computing platform, the demonstration of XEN virtualization scheme based on this core P1 platform attracts people's attention. This scheme supports GPU virtualization, which can realize the efficient concurrency of Linux dashboard and Android Auto, and inject new vitality into the field of vehicle computing.
Through the all-round display of the three platforms, this core technology clearly shows the application potential of end-side AI technology, and the heterogeneous computing power system built by this core P1 chip is becoming an important engine to drive the popularization of AI at the edge and end.
